Michael Shlansky is a litigation attorney who handles personal injury, maritime, insurance, and workers compensation cases. Based in the tri-state area, he serves as of counsel to the Johns Law Firm assisting with maritime and insurance matters. He is a native of Fairfield County, Connecticut with a B.S. degree from Tulane University. After working for several years in the business world, Mr. Shlansky attended Tulane University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree, and thereafter an LL.M. in Admiralty. Attorney Shlansky is admitted to the Louisiana State and Federal Bars (including 5th Circuit Court of Appeals), and began practicing law for insurance defense firms in New Orleans. He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2017. He is a long time member of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department where he holds the position of lieutenant.
