Mr. Cenac is admitted to practice in all courts in the state of Louisiana and has represented clients in hundreds of insurance, workers’ compensation, maritime, and personal injury matters. His practice areas include:
- Admiralty and maritime law
- Corporate governance
- Employment and labor law
- Medical malpractice law
- Property and casualty law
Mr. Cenac received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, graduating magna cum laude, in 2009. Mr. Cenac received his Juris Doctor and Maritime Law Certificate from Tulane Law School in 2012.
At Tulane Law School he was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board and participated as a coach and a competitor in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Mr. Cenac also served as the President of the Tulane Law School Disability and Health Law Society.
After completing law school, Mr. Cenac served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay C. Zainey at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Following his clerkship, Mr. Cenac worked for a prominent insurance defense firm in New Orleans before transitioning to a plaintiff-oriented practice.
Mr. Cenac formerly served as the Co-Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Legal Services for Persons with Disabilities Committee. In 2013, Mr. Cenac was awarded honorary membership in the Order of Barristers.
